Too Pooped To Do Anything (Day 32)

Aw that’s annoying – I can’t keep track of my scribble days anymore by checking the date now – it’s February 1st but we’re on day 32…

How will I know where I’m at????

That being said though, I’m chuffed at having made it through the whole month of January without missing a day of my scribbles.

You guys might not be so chuffed, you might in fact be wishing I had missed quite a few days so I would stop bombarding your Facebook feed or your emails with my daily posts.

At the rate things are going though, it’s 32 down, 333 more to go.  Ha!

I’m a bit brain dead tonight to be honest, not sure how interesting this post is going to be because I’m so damn tired.  Firstly, there’s a weird full moon at the moment and secondly for the past ten days I’ve been going to bed late and getting up early, as well as working an extra day in the restaurant to what I normally do and some of the shifts have been absolutely mental…

My candle is almost out of wick to burn.

So no homework this evening for my business course – once I’ve finished this painfully boring ‘scribble’ I’m going to lie down on the couch and not move until I have to crawl into my bed, which will be happening at twenty-two hundred hours precisely (after watching Father Dougal McGuire solve the latest murder in my new favourite tv series “Death in Paradise”).

Oh wait, I have one last bit of work to do before I can collapse for the night – I have to email a couple editors who have just got back to me with revised editions on a sample of my book; I need to email them that I’ll go through it and respond by the weekend.

That’s how wrecked I am, I can’t even muster up the energy to read over their suggestions and corrections, despite the fact that it is immeasurably, indescribably exciting to see what they thought of my first ever book.

I can’t even read the screen properly anymore.  Ok, this is Liz signing off on probably one of the most boring blog-posts ever, sincere apologies but feck it, I never said these daily scribbles were going to be good or interesting or anything else.  I only said I was going to do them everyday.

And so far, I’m sticking to it.

Ciao darlings!

Lizzie xxx
