Happy Easter peeps!
I’m quite sure that by the time you read this I’ll have scoffed several chocolate Easter eggs and be feeling quite ill (and ignoring how, in yesterday’s blog-post, I preached all about eating gently and mindfully).
I’m doing this post super-early for once. I have a lot to get done these days, with all the work for the business on top of a few paid blog-posts I need to work on and a few of my own personal posts I need to do.
But most of all, I really really need to take a break. I really really need to clear the head, reset the mind, calm the body and do all other kinds of new-age-sounding relaxing stuff.
To show you what I mean, here are is today’s important “to do” list:
- Go for a gentle walk in nature with the dogs
- Relax
- Go out for coffee and cake
- Relax
- Do some strengthening exercizes
- Relax
- Eat aforementioned Easter eggs
- Relax
- Journal (for the first time in weeks)
- Relax
- Do laundry and housework
- Relaaaaaaaax
That should make for a day that’s very, well… relaxing!
I might do some photo-editing. I might add a couple pieces onto our website. But equally, I might just leave all that for one day and go relax!
You’ve gotta be productive and work hard if you want to achieve your goals. But you’ve gotta make sure you allow down-time for the body and mind to unwind and recharge in order to enjoy living.
Balance.
I’ve said it before and no doubt I’ll say it many more times as long as I continue to write these daily scribbles, but it’s all about balance. Of course, that doesn’t mean I can do it myself, but I can definitely tell all you guys what not to do, usually by my own example. I’m good like that, you know?!
Ciao darlings!
