I’m going to get a life… any minute now (Day 87)

It’s nearly 10:30 pm.  I’ve been working solidly since I came home from… uh, work.  Doh!

I did a seven hour shift in the restaurant and it was busy.  Not crazy want-to-cry busy, but annoying busy because the chefs were a man down and so I had to avoid some tables that were waiting ages for their food.

I don’t like angry customers, especially when it’s not even my fault they’re waiting and worse still, there’s nothing I can actually do about getting their food to them other than wait (and endure their disgruntled expressions).

It was a little stressful.

I came home and busted my sugar-fast with a savage blow by finishing off a big Galaxy bar we’d bought for the cinema last night (we went to see Three Billboards and I had no idea what to expect… I was very pleasantly surprised.  Excellent movie.)

But I guess some days (aka every day) you just gotta do what you gotta do and if that be stuffing your face with chocolate then carry on, my dear, carry on.

After a brief break of chatting to Alex over chocolate and herbal tea (see, I am sort of healthy) I commenced the mammoth task of editing photos and uploading them to the website.

This I did because I undertook the mammoth task of taking two hundred photos last week, complete with my home-made photo-booth, in order to drastically improve our website shop.

It is now drastically improved.  There’s still a long way to go but a few leaps in the right direction have been taken.  And I’m feeling mighty proud folks.  Mighty.

It took several hours though just to edit six or seven photos and upload ten, two of which were in fact brand new products.

That’s the joy of running your own business.  On a better note, our photographer is currently photographing a few pieces for us and we have a modelling photo-shoot planned in a week, so mucho mucho excitingo!

For anyone looking to improve their English, please ignore tonight’s scribble, my eyes are tired and my brain has gone a little mad.

In other news, there is no other news: Liz does not have much of a life besides being a waitress, photographing jewellery, writing daily scribbles and doing a few squats in between.

So I’m off to bed to snoozy-land.

Ciao darlings!

Lizzie xxxx
