I went to bed and nearly forgot to write today’s post. Oops!
Thing is, it’s late and I’ve to get up early tomorrow, extra early since the clocks go forward tonight.
I’m not going to write a proper scribble today, it’ll be a kind of day off.
I’m still more or less of sugar (I did have french toadt drenched in maple syrup for breakfast and a plain croissant… but I had nothing else all day. Which is still a significant reduction. Yes I was (am) a serious sugar-fiend.
I had a weak almond milk latte with my breakfast, which was delicious and didn’t seem to give me any radical coffee buzz. If I could stick to the odd weak dairy-free latte, I might not have to cut out coffee completely.
Maybe I still should.
What to do; you want to be healthy and feel good and yet, you don’t want to be a boring health-freak that can’t experience the riches and colours of a life lived to the full.
It’s all about balance but balance is freaking hard!
My balance right now is finishing this and going to bed with a good book because lately, resting and relaxing are my priorities.
