Scatter Brains goes LIVE (Day 31)

The last day in January and I’m still scribbling away every day.

Today’s post is a bit late, it’s nearly 10 pm.  It’s because I was working all day and then had loads to do after, including a live video stream for my business course (within a closed Facebook group) where I blabbed on and on for nearly quarter of an hour.

Yikes!

I watched most of the other videos and they were all about 5 minutes… there’s Liz droning on and on, “jewellery (blah blah) I’m nervous (blah blah) it’s so pretty (blah blah) fecking Indian husband (blah blah)….”

Ok, maybe I didn’t say ‘fecking Indian husband’.

But where was the fecker anyway, while I was sitting, slightly terrified, in front of my mobile phone screen, live, perspiring as I chatted away to all the (two) people watching me??

The cheeky pup was lying in bed watching Indian comedy on youtube.

Thanks for the support darling.  Thanks a mill.

And then he had the cheek to storm into the office afterwards laughing his head off.

“Oh my live-stream wife!  How many times you said ‘sorry for lighting’???”

He was practically crying laughing.

It’s nice to know that as I chattered away like a giggly school-girl, apologising profusely about the bad lighting when showing off jewellery, sweating and with a trembling voice… my sweet husband  was laughing at me.

He’s damn lucky he’s such a good cook and I’m such a disaster in the kitchen (I’m not sure how long I could survive by myself on just toasted cheese sandwiches). I’ll hang onto him a bit longer.

And I have now got a new hope for all these daily scribbles; to see if they could help me to stay focused while speaking.

The amount of times I wandered off topic while doing the live-video, like a toddler who sees a pretty butterfly and instead of following their Mummy starts stumbling after it, only to stop when they see a beautiful daisy and reach to pick it up, only to turn around at the sound of the dog barking and run after him only to….

You get my point: I’m a bit scatter-brained.  Speaking of chips, when are we having dessert?

Kidding!

Time to go.  I’m still recovering from yesterday’s traumatizing work-shift.

Ciao darlings!

(I’m so scattered I just spent ten minutes watching pop songs on youtube when I was meant to be editing this piece)
