It’s been a long hard day.  And I’ve been working like a dog.

No not like a dog, more like a BEAST.

It was very busy in the restaurant for most of my shift, as we had a large group for a funeral booked in.  I was only meant to work til 4 pm but when I tried leaving at 5.45 pm my manager nearly started crying… so I stayed on.

Luckily I have a very kind boss who appreciates the work we all do and offered me food before I eventually did leave (to which I said thanks but no thanks cause my hubby would have an awesome dinner waiting for me).

I also have a very sweet hubby who cleaned up the kitchen so I wouldn’t have to do it and opened the gates so I could drive straight in (and had an awesome hot dinner waiting for me).

So all in all, I’m feeling pretty grateful.

I’m also feeling pretty tired, my feet are hurting and I have yet to do any of today’s homework for my business course and it’s nearly 8 pm.

So today’s ‘daily scribble’ is going to be short and sweet.

I’d love to offer up some funny anecdote from the day or an interesting observation or some better content for this post, but I just don’t have it in me.

Until tomorrow folks, peace out.  I’m going to eat some chocolate now.  I definitely earned it today.
